This page covers classdocket.com — the site you are on right now. It collects one thing: privacy-minimized analytics about how people find this site. It no longer asks for your email at all. That is the whole list.
ClassDocket ran a waitlist before the product opened. That form is gone — the product is live, so there is nothing to wait for. We are telling you about it anyway because we still hold the addresses people gave us, and a disclosure that disappears the moment a form does is not a disclosure.
If you joined, we hold your email address, the date you submitted it, and the fact that it came from this site, stored in our database and in Loops, the service we use to send email. We use it only to email you about ClassDocket. Every email has an unsubscribe link, unsubscribing removes you for good, and you can ask us to delete the record outright at any time using the contact address below.
While the form was running we recorded a one-way cryptographic hash of the IP address each submission came from, with a timestamp, purely to rate-limit repeat submissions. We never stored raw IP addresses from the form, and a hash cannot be turned back into the address it came from.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which page they land on, and which link or ad brought them. Google Analytics sets cookies (their names begin with _ga) and receives a randomly generated identifier for your browser, the pages you view, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type.
We have deliberately left Google's advertising features off. We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles, we do not run remarketing against you, and we do not sell or share this data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
ClassDocket's app at app.classdocket.com uses the same analytics property, so a visit that starts here and continues into the app is counted as one visit instead of two. Nothing you write, upload, or generate inside the app is ever sent to analytics — see the full product privacy policy for how your course materials are handled.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers an opt-out browser add-on. Blocking analytics does not affect anything on this site.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or ClassDocket.
Waitlist addresses collected before the form was retired are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. The hashed rate-limiting records are short-lived. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics retention setting. Since this site no longer collects email, nothing new is being added to any of these.
Email us at [email protected] and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You do not need to live in a particular state or country to ask, and we will not make you jump through hoops or sit through a retention pitch to do it.
Depending on where you live, you may also have formal rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to appeal a refusal. We honor those requests through the same address.
ClassDocket is built for law students and is intended for adults. This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted an email address, contact us and we will remove it.
If we change what we collect, we will update this page and move the effective date above. Material changes to how we use addresses collected by the retired waitlist will be announced by email before they take effect.
